Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers has said that he is happy with his side's 109-108 victory over the Atlanta Hawks, despite their shaky showing at the Staples Center on Saturday.
The Clippers edged out the Hawks courtesy of Blake Griffin's performance, which saw him score over 20 points in 22 consecutive games for LA.
"I was real happy with the win because, you could see it early, we didn't have it and that happens. I say it all the time, 'It's a human game'," Rivers told reporters.
"We won the game, but we wouldn't win a lot of games with the way we turned the ball over and how careless we were with the basketball."
The victory sees the Clippers sitting in first position in the Pacific Division with a record of 44-20 for the season.
