Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant has admitted that he is "excited" to return to the court ahead of the 2015-16 season.
The 37-year-old was ruled out of the back end of the last campaign after suffering a torn rotator cuff, which required surgery to repair.
However, Bryant has recovered from his injury and is eagerly anticipating his 20th season in the NBA along with playing with several new teammates.
"I'm excited to be back on the court," Bryant told reporters. "I'm excited to be out there with the young players who are starting their careers, starting their journeys.
"I'm excited to help them out and kind of show them things I've learned. I'm as excited for this season as I've been in a long time."
The Lakers open their campaign against the Minnesota Timberwolves on October 28.
