Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Friday evening's game in the NBA.

The San Antonio Spurs made the most of their opponents' injury struggles as they cruised to victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The home side are missing five players, including four of their starters, allowing Tony Parker to dominate the game, scoring 28 points in a 25-minute spell.

The Cleveland Cavaliers suffered a third straight loss as the Washington Wizards took control either side of half time to take the win.

John Wall led the hosts with 28, while the Cavaliers stuttered late on, failing to score a field goal in the final nine minutes.

The Dallas Mavericks posted their highest points total in over five years as they thrashed the Los Angeles Lakers.

Dirk Nowitzki was able to sit out the fourth quarter after scoring 23 points to lead the team to a big lead, while Monta Ellis and Chandler Parsons also passed the 20-point mark.

Marc Gasol matched his career-high of 32 points to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to an easy win over the Boston Celtics.

Despite a stomach virus forcing five Grizzlies players to miss the game, the home side pulled away early on, and never looked like losing their unbeaten home record.

The Oklahoma City Thunder slipped to their fifth straight defeat as the Brooklyn Nets held on for a slender win over last season's Western Conference finalists.

The teams were close throughout, and the Thunder almost stole the win late on when Reggie Jackson attempted what would have been a game-winning three-pointer, but his shot missed.

The Orlando Magic overturned a 23-point deficit to clinch a narrow win over the Charlotte Hornets, who have now lost four games in a row.

It looked like the hosts were heading for a comfortable win when they had a lead of more than 20 points late in the third quarter, but a 41-point fourth-quarter display from Orlando, led by Willie Green and Elfrid Payton, secured the turnaround.

The Toronto Raptors remain at the top of the Eastern Conference after crushing the Milwaukee Bucks with a 41-point winning margin.

The hosts were 10 points up by the end of the first quarter, and continued to push either side of half time as they opened up a huge lead, with Lou Williams scoring a season-high 22.

The Portland Trail Blazers extended their winning run to six games with a comfortable victory over the Chicago Bulls.

Damian Lillard led the team with 21 as the Blazers outscored their opponents in the first three quarters to open up a lead against the injury-hit Bulls.

The Golden State Warriors made it four wins in a row after easing to a win over the Utah Jazz.

The visitors looked stronger from the start as they eased to a 15-point lead by the end of the first quarter, ensuring that the Jazz could not fight back late on.

The Phoenix Suns dominated the second quarter to set up a comfortable win over the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center.

The sides were close after the first quarter, but Isaiah Thomas and Eric Bledsoe ensured that the visitors pulled away, outscoring the winless Sixers 41-17 before the break to leave themselves with an easy second half.

The Denver Nuggets made it four wins from their last five as they wrapped up a win over the New Orleans Pelicans at the Pepsi Center.

Kenneth Faried and Arron Afflalo added 19 each, while Anthony Davis was held to under 20 points for the first time in eight games.

A strong first-half performance helped the Atlanta Hawks to continue their dominance at home with a 10-point victory over the Detroit Pistons.

Jeff Teague made a string of baskets in the first half to open up the gap, before the hosts matched Detroit's scoring after the break.
