Los Angeles Lakers coach Byron Scott has revealed his anger with the way his team defended in the loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night.
The Lakers fell to a 109-102 defeat in New Orleans as they trailed by as many as 23 points at one stage, and it leaves them at 1-7 for the season.
"To be honest with you, most of the time, the things that we want to do, they haven't done," Scott told reporters.
"And I don't know if it's because they're incapable of doing it or not."
The Pelicans scored 60 points in the paint with Anthony Davis going for 25 points on 12-of-16 shooting from the field, and Lakers guard Kobe Bryant described it as a "lay-up drill" for their opponents.
