Los Angeles Lakers coach Byron Scott has revealed that he is pleased with how Kobe Bryant has responded to being rested last week.
Bryant missed three games last week due to general body soreness, including the Christmas Day game against the Chicago Bulls.
However, he returned to action with 10 points, eight rebounds and seven assists on Sunday and followed that up with 23 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists on Tuesday.
"So far, the experiment is working," Scott told the media.
"We're just going to keep at it and see how it turns out."
Bryant sat out his second straight practice on Thursday but is expected to start against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night.
