Michael Beasley has said that he was pleased to show a "spark" during his second debut for the Miami Heat yesterday.
The forward rejoined the NBA champions in September after being released by the Phoenix Suns.
The 24-year-old told the South Florida Sun Sentinel: "It felt good to give a spark. I had the mindset to stay ready."
Head coach Erik Spoelstra added: "Michael played, from the outside, a small amount of minutes, but they were important minutes."
Beasley played for less than four minutes during the win over the Toronto Raptors, converting his first two three-point shots, while having a further two attempts at the hoop.
