LeBron James's business partner, Maverick Carter, has revealed that the former Miami Heat star made his decision to re-join the Cleveland Cavaliers 'with his heart'.
After four years with Miami, the 29-year-old opted out of his contract and decided to return to Cleveland with the view of winning a championship with the franchise.
"This was a decision that LeBron made in his heart. We didn't push him to do it. We don't push him to do anything. If he asks our opinion or what did we think about the pros and the cons, we help him think through it. We don't push him," Carter said, ESPN reports.
James won two championships during his time with the Heat but decided to leave the organisation after losing to the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals last season.
