Scott Skiles has emerged as a candidate for the vacant coaching position at the New Orleans Pelicans.
According to reports, Skiles is also the frontrunner for the Orlando Magic job but has now been added to the Pelicans' list of targets.
It is understood that Golden State Warriors assistant Alvin Gentry and ESPN analyst Jeff Van Gundy have already been interviewed by New Orleans.
However, many of the teams looking for a new coach are also monitoring the situation between the Chicago Bulls and Tom Thibodeau.
The Pelicans job became available earlier this month when the franchise took the decision to fire former coach Monty Williams despite making the playoffs.
