Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Saturday night's games in the NBA as the Charlotte Hornets condemn the New York Knicks to a 15th straight defeat.

The New York Knicks slipped to their 15th defeat in a row as they were thrashed by the Charlotte Hornets to leave them with the worst record in the NBA.

Kemba Walker led the scoring for the visitors as they outscored the Knicks 41-13 in the second quarter to take the game away from the hosts before half time.

The Minnesota Timberwolves also made it 15 straight defeats as they were beaten by NBA champions the San Antonio Spurs.

The visitors looked the stronger of the two from the start as Austin Daye scored a season-high 22, putting the Spurs 15 points up at the break.

The Los Angeles Clippers made it six wins in their last eight games as they cruised to a win over the Dallas Mavericks.

The home side opened up an eight-point lead by the break which they never looked like surrendering as Blake Griffin and Jamal Crawford combined for 41.

Pau Gasol scored a career-high 46 to lead the Chicago Bulls to a win over the Milwaukee Bucks, after back-to-back defeats this week.

The home side surged ahead early on as Gasol set up a 10-point lead by the end of the first quarter, before Brandon Knight put Milwaukee ahead in the third before a strong finish from Chicago.

A strong start to the second half set the Detroit Pistons up for a win over the Brooklyn Nets in a closely-fought game.

The sides were level at the interval, but Brandon Jennings led a strong run after the break to give the Pistons their eighth win in nine outings.

The Portland Trail Blazers needed a strong finish to set up a win over the Orlando Magic, who have now lost six games in a row.

The lead switched hands several times, but Wesley Matthews put Portland in front for the final time inside the final four minutes.

The Houston Rockets extended their winning run to three games as they eased past the Utah Jazz.

The sides could not be separated in the first quarter, but James Harden hit his stride in the second of his way to a 30-point game to secure the win.

The Toronto Raptors ended a four-game losing streak with a comfortable win over the Boston Celtics.

Kyle Lowry added 10 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter to keep any hopes of a Celtics comeback at bay, ensuring that the Raptors ended their longest run without a win this season.

The Philadelphia 76ers made it back-to-back wins as they edged past the Indiana Pacers thanks to a late shot from Michael Carter-Williams.

The Sixers came from behind in the second half, led by Tony Wroten, before Carter-Williams put them ahead inside the final 10 seconds.
