The New York Knicks slipped to their 16th straight defeat as they were beaten 95-79 by the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA's visit to London.

The Bucks made a quick start to the game, outscoring the team with the worst record in the league 31-13 in the first quarter after racing to a 14-0 lead thanks to a quick start from Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Carmelo Anthony returned from a knee injury to keep the New York side in contention at the break, making a series of shots to ensure that Milwaukee could not extend their lead.

Anthony tried to get a run going at the start of the third quarter, but Brandon Knight and OJ Mayo extended the Bucks' advantage to more than 20 points.

The Knicks used their reserves late on, with Travis Wear and Lou Amundson making some late baskets, but it was too late for the Atlantic Division strugglers to get back into the game.

The result leaves the Knicks with a 5-36 record this season, while the Bucks improve to 21-19.
