Chelsea are reportedly prepared to offer two players in a bid to sign Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise.
The 22-year-old is attracting significant interest after experiencing a productive 2022-23 season despite struggling with hamstring issues.
Olise netted 10 goals and provided six assists in 19 Premier League matches to help the Eagles achieve a top-half finish.
He has been linked with the likes of Manchester City and Bayern Munich, but it is Chelsea who appear to be leading the race to secure his signature.
The Blues experienced disappointment last summer after Olise turned down their advances in favour of signing a new contract with Palace until the summer of 2027.
Chelsea considering play-plus-cash deal for Olise
As a result of that deal, Olise now has a £60m release clause which is only available to clubs playing in the Champions League.
With Chelsea competing in the Europa League, they will have to negotiate a fee to prise Olise away from Selhurst Park this summer.
According to The Sun, Chelsea are willing to offer at least two members of their squad in a potential player-plus-cash deal for Olise.
The report claims that the Blues could put forward defender Trevoh Chalobah and attacker Noni Madueke as candidates to move in the opposite direction.
Why are Chelsea willing to offload Chalobah and Madueke?
Even if Palace decide against a swap deal, Chalobah is still likely to leave Stamford Bridge this summer despite being under contract until June 2028.
The Blues are open to selling some of their academy products in a bid to alleviate any concerns surrounding the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules.
Chalobah has ultimately been earmarked for a potential sale, with the defender likely to find playing time hard to come by next season amid competition from Axel Disasi, Benoit Badiashile, Levi Colwill and new addition Tosin Adarabioyo.
Meanwhile, Madueke is being linked with a move away just 18 months after joining Chelsea from Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven.
The winger started just 13 Premier League matches last season and could look elsewhere to gain regular playing time amid interest from Newcastle United. body check tags ::
