The Phoenix Suns have suspended forward PJ Tucker after he violated team rules ahead of Monday night's 118-114 win over the Boston Celtics.
Tucker was listed as inactive for the game after a Suns spokeswoman revealed that he had missed the plane to Boston on Sunday.
The 29-year-old has already faced a three-game suspension this season after the league banned him following a guilty plea to a "super extreme" driving while intoxicated charge.
A "super extreme" DUI under Arizona law relates to the blood alcohol level exceeding 0.20, with Tucker registering a blood alcohol level of 0.222 with the legal limit set at just 0.08.
Tucker is averaging 6.6 points and 5.6 rebounds per game this season after he signed a new three-year deal back in July.
