Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins both had to leave the Sacramento Kings' 119-98 defeat to the Houston Rockets with injuries.
Gay had to exit the game with an Achilles injury during the first quarter, while Cousins sprained his ankle shortly before half time.
Head coach Mike Malone spoke briefly after the game, saying: "It was a big loss to lose both of those guys in the first half."
Cousins is the team's leading scorer, while Gay has started every game since joining in a trade from the Toronto Raptors last month.
