The Sacramento Kings are expected to sign former Los Angeles Lakers point guard Darren Collison on a three-year deal.
A source close to the deal has informed The AP that Collison's new contract is thought to be worth around $16m (£9.3m).
If the reports are true, Collison would officially join the Kings once the NBA's moratorium on moves is lifted on July 10.
The guard notched an average of 11.4 points and 3.7 assists in 25.9 minutes last season, having played second fiddle to Chris Paul in LA.
