Sacramento Kings forward Derrick Williams is hoping for a fresh start after securing his move from the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The former number two pick struggled for both playing time and consistency during his stint alongside Kevin Love, and admits that it was difficult.
"There were times where I was like, 'I'm definitely not going to play tonight,'" Williams told The AP.
"And K-Love would have 25 [points] and 15 [rebounds]. Sometimes you have to come to grips with yourself and realise that."
The Kings sent defensive specialist Luc Mbah a Moute to the Wolves in exchange on Wednesday, but Williams admitted that he is already feeling at home with his new franchise.
