The San Antonio Spurs have been told that Tony Parker will miss a two-game away trip due to his battle with back spasms.
Parker was forced off the court early on in the victory over the Memphis Grizzlies complaining of a problem in his back, before undergoing an MRI scan on Monday to find out the full extent of the injury.
Despite the injury not being serious, Parker will sit out of San Antonio's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday and the meeting with the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday.
The Spurs have confirmed that the 31-year-old will be examined again when the team return from their trip.
Parker has averaged 16.8 points per game this season.
