Gregg Popovich has claimed that the San Antonio Spurs beat the Toronto Raptors on Monday because of Tony Parker's aggressive performance.
Parker scored 26 points and provided eight assists for his teammates to ensure that he received plenty of praise from his coach after the 112-99 victory.
"We won that game because of Tony Parker's aggressiveness," Popovich told reporters.
"His juice, his aggression all night long. And we made some threes in the fourth quarter. Those are the two reasons we won the game."
The Spurs host the Houston Rockets on Christmas night.
