San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich has praised the mentality of point guard Patty Mills, following the Australian's performance in their 104-100 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday.
Mills scored both a game and season-high 32 points to help San Antonio come from behind to win at the Time Warner Cable Arena.
"[Patty Mills] has been big like this for us before. He has been real important to us coming off the bench," Popovich said after the game.
"He is a competitor. He has played on the Australian Olympic team for years and has traveled all over the world. He is not impressed with the NBA. He just comes to play basketball."
The win sees the Spurs sitting in first position in the Southwest Division with a record of 37-14.
