Nigeria's Edith Ogoke has caused a shock in the women's Olympic middleweight tournament with a two-point victory over Azerbaijan's Elena Vystropova.
Ogoke started strongly and shook Vystropova with some thunderous shots in the first two rounds to open up a four-point cushion.
The Azeri started to use her speed to her advantage by hitting and moving nicely as the Nigerian's exertions began to take their toll.
Some swift hitting helped Vystropova claw herself back to within one point of Ogoke as they entered the decider.
Ogoke was blowing hard as Vystropova threw everything at her, landing with some decent combinations.
However, the judges believed that the Nigerian had done enough and rewarded her effort with a 14-12 decision.
