Team England boxer Warren Baister has insisted that his eye "is fine" despite suffering a nasty cut in his Heavyweight Commonwealth Games bout against Steven Ward.
Baister advanced into the quarter-finals courtesy of a split decision, but suffered a gash to his eye during the last-16 bout in Glasgow.
"The eye is fine. Just a little bit of glue needed. It will be fine for Wednesday," he told reporters.
Baister will fight Samir El-Mais in the quarter-finals on Wednesday.
