Timothy Bradley has said that Manny Pacquiao has made a "big mistake" in agreeing to fight him in Las Vegas on June 9.
The 28-year-old, unbeaten in 28 bouts, believes that the Filipino sees him as a stepping stone towards a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jnr.
Bradley also claimed that Freddy Roach is attempting to use Pacquiao to silence him about remarks he has made about stable-mate Amir Khan, whom he has described as a "fraud".
"They've made a big mistake in thinking they can use me as a stepping stone," Bradley told www.fightsaga.com.
"We're all human and so is Manny Pacquiao. He's not invincible. He's underestimating me. You can't try to make a statement with a fighter of my calibre.
"Pacquiao has made a big mistake by even taking this fight. Freddy's plan is going to backfire on him - I'll be the one making the statement."
The American will step up in weight to fight Pacquiao for his WBO strap, having last fought at welterweight against Luis Carlos Abregu in 2010.
