A rematch between British heavyweight Dereck Chisora and European champion Robert Helenius could take place in the spring.
In December 2011, Chisora suffered a split-decision defeat to Helenius in Helsinki, despite appearing to edge the contest, but it looks as though he will get a second opportunity to face the Finnish fighter.
The European Boxing Union has called for purse bids to take place to stage the bout, with the deadline for offers falling on January 21.
The decision to put Chisora in line for a chance to reclaim his European belt could alter Anthony Joshua's plans for his next scheduled outing on April 9, with both Chisora and Helenius on the shortlist to feature at London's O2 Arena.
David Price will also be an interested observer after promoter Kalle Sauerland said that he expected the Liverpudlian to be made mandatory challenger for the European title during 2016 after Erkan Teper failed a drugs test after stopping Price in July.
