Oscar De La Hoya has criticised Floyd Mayweather Jr for the approach that he used during his unanimous points victory over Manny Pacquiao.
Mayweather eased past the Filipino at a sold-out MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday evening to stretch his unbeaten professional record to 48-0, but De La Hoya was disappointed with tactics adopted by the five-weight world champion.
BBC Sport quotes the Golden Boy CEO as saying: "Call me old-school but I like the fans getting their money's worth by watching an action-packed fight.
"I'm just not into the boxing, running style. I like jumping out of my seat because a fight was existing."
However, the American's father, Floyd Mayweather Sr has dismissed criticism of his son's strategy against the Filipino.
