Eddie Hearn believes that Kelly Brook versus Amir Khan is a fight that could happen "next summer".
Brook will square off against Devon Alexander in March, but Hearn, who promotes Brook, thinks that a potential all-British clash is a distinct possibility should he prevail against the American.
"The fight could happen next summer and it would be a big one because it is a domestic tussle that everyone wants to see," Hearn was quoted in The Daily Star.
"Kell wants to fight Amir Khan so badly. I saw Khan come out and say 'if Kell wins a world title I'll fight him'.
"But it's not his decision. If we win the title then we will decide on our terms. Khan and Kell are great fighters, it's one the British public wants to see and it has to happen."
Brook's match with Alexander was originally scheduled for January 19, but was postponed due to an ankle injury to the Sheffield fighter.
