Amir Khan has revealed that he hopes to sit down with Floyd Mayweather Jr when the American visits England next month.
The unbeaten Mayweather is visiting a number of venues throughout the country in a series of meet-and-greet events, and the Bolton-born fighter will look to negotiate a possible fight with 'Money' during his stay.
Khan told the Daily Star: "Maybe he is coming here because he is looking at a fight with me in the future. I don't know why he's coming to Bolton.
"If he didn't know me, I don't think he'd have heard of Bolton, so there must be some interest there for him to fight me? I don't know.
"When I heard he was coming to the Reebok [Stadium], it's only down the road from my house, so I thought I'll invite him. We can play a game of pool, but I am rubbish at that so we can have a game of Fight Night on the computer, so I can knock him out."
Khan was victorious in his last bout against Luis Collazo earlier this month.
