Juan Manuel Marquez has admitted that he will look at every option before deciding on his next opponent.
The Mexican has not fought since beating Manny Pacquiao at the fourth time of asking in December, and has cast doubt over a fifth meeting.
Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum had said that a fifth fight between the two was on the cards, but Marquez reveals he has no desire to fight the Filipino again.
"I think for me there is no point [in a fifth fight]," Marquez told BoxingScene.com.
"We already achieved the desired result. I also asked several friends that I have around me and they told me not to do it. I said before the fourth fight, no matter how this fight ends, there cannot be a fifth.
"We'll review every option and then decide where we want to go. I feel very good. I do want to fight again but nothing has been decided. We'll see what happens."
The 39-year-old has a record of 62 fights, including 55 wins and six defeats, his single draw coming against Pacquiao.
