British super-bantamweight Rendall Munroe has admitted that he might have lost his hunger to succeed as a boxer.
The 32-year-old was stopped in round six of his WBA interim super-bantamweight fight with Scott Quigg on Saturday and he has acknowledged that it may be time to walk away from the sport.
Munroe told BBC Radio Leicester: "I'm about ready to call it a day now. I've had a good journey and a good time but what more is there now?
"If you lose that hunger it might be time. I'll see what happens.
"I love training but it felt like even when I was sparring I was having to push myself really hard. It felt like sometimes I was just going through the motions."
Munroe lost to Japan's Toshiaki Nishioka for the WBC super bantamweight title in 2010.
