The spokesperson for Manny Pacquiao has revealed that the Philippine fighter will return to boxing in September.
Pacquiao has not fought since he was knocked out in six rounds by Juan Manuel Marquez in December, but spokesperson Rose Tamayo has announced that the 34-year-old hopes to agree a bout outside of the United States later in the year.
Tamayo told AFP: "The fight is definitely in September. We will talk about the opponent and the place after the May 13 elections.
"Manny wants to fight outside the United States because of the taxes. Singapore is one of the top places for consideration. There is also Macau and Dubai."
The former world champion is currently running for re-election as a congressman in the Philippine mid-term elections.
