Adrien Broner clinched victory over John Molina Jr on a unanimous points decision in their junior welterweight bout this morning.
The 25-year-old began the fight well as he used his speed to land hefty shots on Molina, who looked tentative in his approach as he rarely attacked Broner.
However, in round three, Molina began to come out of his shell and landed three big hits in succession, but that was as good as it got for the 32-year-old as Broner regained his focus.
Broner upped the ante in the seventh as he used his quick hands to put his opponent on the back foot, and Molina could not muster a response as the bout began to slip out of his grasp.
The 25-year-old was able to use his jab unopposed in the latter rounds as Molina became desperate and lost his discipline, leading to further success for Broner.
At the bell, the judges highlighted Broner's dominance as two favoured him by 120-108, while the other recorded a 118-110 score to seal his comfortable victory at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
