Team GB's Qais Ashfaq has guaranteed himself a medal at the European Games in Baku after reaching the semi-finals in the men's bantamweight event this afternoon.
The 22-year-old eased to victory over Germany's Omar El-Hag on points, winning on all three judges' scorecards.
Ashfaq was unanimously given the first two rounds, while dropping a point in the final couple of minutes as El-Hag finished strongly.
The Briton will face Dzmitry Asanau of Belarus for a place in the final on Wednesday.
