10.54pmSo please join us here at Sports Mole from 1.30pm tomorrow for day 12 of the Olympic boxing tournament. Until then, farewell!

10.53pmThe fly and light heavyweight competitors will also battle for their semi-final places. All in all, it looks like we could be in for another exciting evening of Olympic boxing!

10.51pmThe evening session brings us Team GB's captain Tom Stalker in his light-welterweight quarter-final. He is going up against Mongolia's Munkh-Erdene Uranchimeg for a place on the Olympic podium.

10.48pmTomorrow sees the women's semi-finals as the focus of attention in the afternoon session. Team GB's Nicola Adam goes up against India's Mary Kom in the flyweight division.

10.46pmThat brings this short but very action-packed session to a close. Every fight was close and every fight entertained.

10.45pmSapiyev takes a 20-11 decision. He was very composed and deserved his victory. the Kazakh has now guaranteed himself at least a bronze medal.

10.39pmMaestre forced a standing count in that round but he still trails 11-7.

10.34pmBack to the boxing - Sapiyev is 6-2 in front after the first round.

10.33pmRachael Cordingley, eat your heart out...

10.33pmYou don't need to listen closely for the high-pitched, Azarenka-esque screech of Venezuela's sole female boxing contingent of Karlha Magliocco...

10.31pmNext up: Gabriel Maestre (Venezuela) vs Serik Sapiyev (Kazakhstan)

10.31pmZamkavoy triumphs 16-11. That confirms the USA's worst showing at an Olympic boxing tournament. No medals whatsoever for a nation whose professional scene is arguably the most polished.

10.23pmThe Russian has a grip on this fight now and extends his lead 9-7.

10.19pmZamkavoy leads 4-3 after the first. Again, it is another evenly-matched contest.

10.14pmSo Spence gets another bite at the cherry. His loss to Krishan Vikas was rightly overturned. He is America's last boxing medal hope...

10.14pmNext up: Errol Spence (United States) vs Andrey Zamkovoy (Russia)

10.13pmThat was a very evenly matched contest. Evans got the better of the first round, while there was a bit of a transition in the second. Clayton definitely won the third round and had every right to believe that he might have got the decision.

DecisionEVANS WINS ON A COUNTBACK!

End of Round 3This could be very close. I did not think that Clayton won the second by such a distance, and he was the man who finished strongly in the third. Decision time!

Round 3The Canadian is coming forward and Evans's legs are slowing down.

Round 3Evans is unwilling to directly engage Clayton.

Round 3Clayton replies with a nice right hook.

Round 3Nice two-punch combination from Evans.

Round 3Clayton is going for it early in the third!

End of Round 2Clayton takes the second round by three points and is now trailing by just two.

Round 2Evans is dictating the pace of the bout. He is content to wait on the back foot.

Round 2The crowd chant 'Freddie! Freddie! Freddie!' - the atmosphere is crackling!

Round 2Evans lands with a great right hand that knocks Clayton off balance!

End of Round 1The Brit has taken a 7-2 lead. Great boxing from Evans!

Round 1Evans puts another combination together. He has started by far the stronger!

Round 1Evans is using his jab well. Clayton is finding it difficult to get into range.

Round 1Evans starts strongly. He peppers the Canadian's guard with a string of punches.

9.58pmon now: Custio Clayton (Canada) vs Freddie Evans (Great Britain)

9.54pmShelestyuk wins by countback after it had finished 18-18. I think the Frenchman won that one...

9.48pmAgain, it's 12-12 after two. Another exciting finish!

9.44pmIt's 5-5 after the first round. Vastine is the one on the move and he is consuming plenty of energy. Can he keep it up?

9.40pmShelestyuk is a punishing fighter. Pure power and aggression.

9.38pmNext up: Taras Shelestyuk (Ukraine) vs Alexis Vastine (France)

DecisionRamirez wins 16-11

End of Round 3It's over and I'm afraid that the Brit has come up short. He gave it a good go but he was up against a very decent fighter.

Round 3Ramirez just seems to have the measure of Selby tonight. Selby is not doing badly, but he isn't doing enough to cut down the gap.

Round 3Ramirez is staying out of range but Selby is reluctant to come forward. The Cuban's defence looks impenetrable.

End of Round 2The fight looks evenly matched but it is Ramirez who now leads by five points heading into the final round. It is going to take something special to overhaul this deficit...

Round 2The Cuban finds a couple of good right hands as Selby leans on the ropes.

Round 2Ramirez's defence looks very tight. It does not look like much is getting through from Selby.

Round 2Selby works to the body again. He just gets tagged with a couple from the Cuban, though...

End of Round 1Great start from Selby... but Ramirez leads 5-4. I can't say I agree with that...

Round 1Ramirez comes forward but Selby is not presenting a standing target.

Round 1The Cuban is opertating behind a high guard. Selby is going to work with punches in bunches. He is looking on his game tonight!

Round 1Selby is on his toes and he unleashes a fast combination to the body.

9.22pmOn now: Robeisy Ramirez (Cuba) vs Andrew Selby (Great Britain)

9.21pmConlon wins 22-18! He is guaranteed an Olympic bronze now! Terrific for him and Irish boxing!

9.14pmIt's 12-12 after two! This is going to be very close!

9.10pmAn even first round ends 5-5.

9.05pmOubaali looks like a cracking fighter. this should be a great contest.

9.05pmNext up: Nordine Oubaali (French) vs Michael Conlan (Ireland)

9.04pmNyambayar sees out the third round to record a 15-10 victory and guarantee Mongolia an Olympic medal in the flyweight boxing competition!

8.57pmNyambayar storms back and now leads by a point. 9-8 to the Mongolian.

8.52pmLatipov takes a 5-4 lead in what's been a tight contest so far.

8.47pmNext up: Jasurbek Latipov (Uzbekistan) vs Tugstsogt Nyambayar (Mongolia)

8.46pmAloian wins 23-13. A good performance from both fighters.

8.43pmThe Russian has doubled his advantage to lead by 13-7. Final round.

8.35pmAloian takes a 5-2 lead after the first round.

8.28pmFirst up: Misha Aloian (Russia) vs Jeyvier Cintron (Puerto Rico)

8.27pmWelcome to day 11!
