Errol Spence of the United States has defeated Brazil's Myke Carvalho in the first welterweight bout of the evening session.
Spence impressed in the opening round, evading the Brazilian to score with five shots to Carvalho's three.
The American was using his jab nicely to tee up his booming right, although he was throwing at a stationary target.
Carvalho did come on strong as the round wore on but Spence matched his tempo every step of the way.
The Brazilian was then given a warning for holding in the final ten seconds of the second, which gave Spence an extra two points - taking his lead to 12-7.
Spence cruised to a 16-10 victory in the final round as his body work looked to have taken all the fight out of Carvalho.
