Australia build lead of 32 after first innings of fourth Ashes Test

Australia can only add 48 runs to their first innings total on day three of the fourth Ashes Test against England.

Ryan Harris was the star of the morning of day three of the fourth Ashes Test as Australia built a lead of 32 runs after the first innings against England.

Australia returned to the crease on 222-5, 16 behind England's total, but could only add two more runs before the first wicket fell when Graeme Swann trapped Brad Haddin (13) lbw.

Swann took the big wicket soon after as Chris Rogers (110) couldn't add much to his maiden Test century achieved yesterday.

Rogers appeared to pad the ball up into the air and wicket-keeper Matt Prior leapt forward to take the catch as England thought that they had heard another sound. The hosts reviewed the decision and Hot Spot showed that it took the slightest nick off the glove.

That just left the Australia tail and although Harris bashed 28, he couldn't build a partnership with Peter Siddle (5) or Nathan Lyon (4) before he was given out lbw, with Stuart Broad taking his fifth wicket of the innings.
