Steve Smith has expressed his happiness after his man-of-the-match display helped Australia regain The Ashes in Perth on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old hit a first innings of 111 to scoop the prize in the third Test to help Australia to a 150-run victory, which saw them win back the urn at the fourth time of asking.
"I've been a part of two Ashes now but to bring the urn back is very special," Smith told reporters. "The boys have told me this is one of the best places to bat once you get in so I was pleased to cash in."
The win ends Australia's run of 1,577 days without the urn, following England's victory in August 2009.
