England are in full control of the fourth Test as India are all out for 152 before tea on day one of the fourth Test at Old Trafford.

England continue to dominate the opening day of the fourth Test at Old Trafford by demolishing India's innings to leave the tourists all out on 152 before tea.

The hosts ripped through India's top order in the morning session with Murali Vijay, Virat Kholi and Cheteshwar Pujara all going for ducks as James Anderson and Stuart Broad dominated the field.

Gautam Gambhir (4) was the first to go courtesy of a delivery from Broad, which eventually fell into the hands of Joe Root, while Ajinkya Rahane was the last to go in the morning session having hit 24 runs from 52 balls.

MS Dhoni became the only sturdy figure in India's shaky innings by reaching a half-century, but his teammates continued to topple around him as an lbw call from Anderson dismissed Ravindra Jadeja for a duck.

The partnership between Dhoni and Ravichandran Ashwin gave the tourists a shred of hope, but Broad halted their fightback by taking the wicket of Ashwin, who hit 40 from 42 deliveries.

Broad continued the charge by claiming six wickets before the evening session by dismissing Bhuvneshwar Kumar for a duck and Dhoni, who ended his innings on 71 runs.

The final wicket came when the 28-year-old clean bowled Pankaj Singh to demolish the tourists.
