Chris Rogers and David Warner push Australia to 26-0 at lunch on day two of the second Ashes Test after England were bowled out for 430.

Australia managed to take the three remaining England wickets before lunch on day two of the first Ashes Test in Cardiff this morning.

Hosts England started the day on 343-7, largely thanks to a score of 134 from Joe Root yesterday, with Moeen Ali (26*) and Stuart Broad (0*) at the crease.

Broad quickly got off the mark on a sunny day two with a four and a six in the second over as he and Ali pushed the home side towards 400.

Ali became the fourth batsman of the innings to pass 50, but Broad soon fell for 18 as spinner Nathan Lyon bagged his second wicket immediately after being introduced to the attack.

Broad and Ali had put on a steely partnership of 52 and Ali was next to go after scoring 77 off 88 balls as he swung at a Mitchell Starc delivery and edged it to Shane Watson in the slips.

James Anderson was the last man to fall for a single as Starc tumbled the stumps with a full delivery to finish with a five-for. England finished all out for 430 - the first time since January 2011 they have scored more than 400 in an Ashes innings - while Mitchell Johnson conceded more runs than he has ever done in a Test without taking a wicket with 111.

In response, left-handers Chris Rogers (15*) and David Warner (5*) have pushed Australia to 26-0 by the end of the day's first session. Broad thought that he had trapped Rogers lbw, but the umpire didn't raise his finger and England opted to review the decision.

Although the ball was going on to hit the stumps, hot spot revealed that there had been a small inside-edge, so Rogers survived.
