Alastair Cook has claimed that the current England team are creating history and that they do not fear any team in the world.
The batsman's performances have been a key factor in England's rise to number one in the ICC Test rankings and insists that the squad are eager to keep improving ahead of the series against South Africa.
Cook said: "We are desperate to stay together and keep on improving and winning series like we are now.
"We're creating history now. Those records give us confidence. When Jimmy is coming into bowl he's got 270 wickets and Broady has 150. There is all that experience. Swanny has almost 200.
"We don't fear anyone. What we've learnt is that if we play well then we are a match for anyone in the world."
England face South Africa in the first Test at the Oval beginning on Thursday.
