Former England cricketer David Lloyd believes that the ECB need to make public their reasons for reportedly rejecting Kevin Pietersen again.
Reports emerged on Monday evening claiming that newly-appointed director of England cricket Andrew Strauss has told Pietersen that he is unlikely to play international cricket again.
The decision is believed to have been made despite Pietersen scoring an unbeaten triple century for Surrey on Monday.
After hearing of the reports, Lloyd tweeted: "If news re KP is true that he will not play for Eng ...the public must know the reasons ...."
Strauss is due to hold his first press conference as ECB director this morning.
