Eoin Morgan has paid tribute to James Taylor after his unbeaten half-century led England to victory over Pakistan in the third one-day international.
England were in trouble on 93-4 as they chased 209 in Sharjah, but Taylor scored 67 not out in an unbroken 117-run partnership with Jos Buttler (49*) to secure a six-wicket win and a 2-1 series lead.
"The performance was hugely satisfying," Morgan revealed at the post-match presentation. "The pitch turned more than we expected it to do and the partnership between Taylor and Buttler was outstanding - they didn't allow the Pakistan bowlers to bowl as they liked.
"Every role we've given James Taylor, he's excelled in. He epitomises the culture we're trying to create in this changing-room - he works so hard at this game. Hopefully we can produce another performance and win the series."
The fourth and final ODI takes place in Dubai on Friday.
