Eoin Morgan has encouraged the England squad to build upon the momentum from their Test series win over India when the Twenty20 matches between the two nations get underway in Pune tomorrow.
Touring England secured their first success in India for 27 years on Monday morning thanks to a 2-1 triumph from a four-match series.
Reflecting upon that victory, captain Morgan is hoping that his players can record a similar outcome.
"As we've seen in the past when the Test side has done well, it's had a knock-on effect with the other two teams," Morgan told reporters. "Certainly we'll be looking to win these two games and take confidence and momentum from the Test side and keep the winning habit up."
Morgan has taken over the captaincy duties from Stuart Broad, who has been ruled out with an Achilles injury.
