Kevin Pietersen has admitted that he would consider coming out of international one-day retirement if a change could be made to the international cricket schedule.
The 32-year-old announced that he wished to retire from the international limited-overs game last month citing burn-out, but he has revealed that he would reconsider his decision if an agreement could be reached with the ECB.
The 32-year-old said: "I've said before that if the schedule was right, if they could sort my schedule out, I would love to play for another three or four years in all forms of the game.
"But the schedule at the moment is a nightmare. I hope something can be sorted out."
Pietersen was speaking after he finished on an unbeaten 234 in Surrey's match against Lancashire at Guildford.
