Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen has reacted on Twitter to comments made by his ex-teammate Matt Prior, who is said to have claimed that the dressing room is better without the cricketer.
Pietersen was axed by the England and Wales Cricket Board following England's disastrous Ashes campaign Down Under, which ended in a 5-0 whitewash defeat to Australia.
According to The Mirror, during a question and answer session this week in Dubai, Prior was asked if the dressing room would be a better place without Pietersen, and the wicketkeeper replied: "Yes, it will.
"I think one of the biggest things [the ECB] want to rediscover is the value of playing cricket for England, the honour and the pride you need to show as an England cricketer."
Pietersen took to Twitter this morning to say: "Fewer Q&A's, more Sussex nets methinks, @MattPrior13! #josbuttler."
England are preparing for their one-day international against the West Indies this afternoon.
