The West Indies have set England a victory target of 239 runs to win the three-match one-day international series at the Kia Oval.

A knock of 77 from Dwayne Bravo helped the West Indies set England a target of 239 runs to take a 2-0 one-day international series lead at the Kia Oval this afternoon.

Before the match got underway both teams paid tribute to Tom Maynard with a minute's silence. The 23-year-old Surrey batsman died after being hit by a tube train during the early hours of yesterday morning.

England captain Alastair Cook won the toss and opted to put the touring Windies into bat.

That decision looked to have been the wrong one when the returning Chris Gayle reached his 50 from just 41 deliveries.

However, Gayle was dismissed on appeal just 13 runs later by spin-bowler Graeme Swann, who trapped the 32-year-old lbw.

Gayle's exit prompted a number of West Indian wickets to fall, before Bravo came to the crease. Having played a number of defensive shots against the bowling of Stuart Broad and James Anderson, the number five batsman went on to hit a series of boundaries on his way to 77.

He was eventually removed by Ravi Bopora, who took a catch following a bouncing delivery from Anderson.

The home side's bowling attack went on to make light work of the tail as the Windies ended with 238-9.
