Gloucestershire have filled their second overseas player spot by completing the signing of Peter Handscomb.
The Australian batsman, who hit the headlines last year when he made 103 not out off 64 balls for the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League, will be available for all three formats of the game.
"It has always been an ambition of mine to play county cricket and I was delighted when Gloucestershire expressed an interest in me joining them," the 23-year-old told the club's official website.
"I have heard good things about the players at Nevil Road and I am looking forward to meeting up with them in April."
The former Australia Under-19 international will join up with his new teammates in May.
