South Africa have reduced Pakistan to 91-4 at tea on the second day of the third Test against Pakistan in Centurion, following a strong session with the ball.
Pakistan resumed on 9-0, having bowled the hosts out for 409 in the morning session.
The tourists batted well early in the session, but Imran Farhat was caught leg before wicket by Vernon Philander seven overs after play resumed, costing Pakistan their first wicket of the innings.
Kyle Abbott was brought into the attack for the hosts in the next over on his Test debut, and took the wicket of Mohammad Hafeez.
Philander made it three wickets in three overs for South Africa, bowling Azhar Ali out for six, reducing Pakistan to 56-3, before Abbott claimed his second.
The tourists steadied the ship as tea approached, surviving three overs without losing a fifth wicket.
