Chris Froome has credited his teammates with helping him to victory at the Tour of Oman in the general classification.
The Team Sky rider finished the race 27 seconds ahead of Alberto Contador, with 2011 Tour de France winner Cadel Evans completing the top three.
The British cyclist told Sky Sports News: "It has been an incredibly successful week for us this week. The team has rallied around me all the way and having guys of the calibre of Bradley Wiggins helping you to win a race makes it a hell of a lot easier to be up there when the going gets tough.
"This is still very early days at the moment and early on in the season. This was a preparation event and a good test to see how the winter training has gone so far.
"I am quite confident that I am on track at the moment and right where I need to be with my preparations in view of being ready at 100% for the Tour de France."
Froome is expected to be Team Sky's leading rider at this year's Tour de France, having supported Wiggins throughout the mountain stages at last year's event.
