Mark Cavendish has become Britain's first winner of the green jersey for the Tour de France’s best sprinter.
The 26-year-old won the final stage of the race with a sprint finish on the Champs-Elysees.
Australia’s Cadel Evans took the yellow jersey to become his country’s first Tour winner, while Spain’s Samuel Sanchez won best climber and France’s Pierre Rolland was awarded the white jersey for best young rider.
Following Champs-Elysees wins in 2009 and 2010, Cavendish also becomes the first rider to win three final stages in succession since Belgian Eddy Merckx in 1972.
