The Professional Darts Corporation has confirmed that Gary Anderson will play at this week's Premier League meeting in Newcastle.
The two-time world champion missed the opening round of matches last Thursday in Leeds through illness.
Anderson was also absent from the UK Open qualifiers at the weekend, but he has recovered to take his place at the Metro Radio Arena on Tyneside.
The 45-year-old Scot is due to take on world number one Michael van Gerwen.
