Adrian Lewis held his nerve in a final-leg decider against Phil Taylor to progress through to the semi-finals of the European Championship.
In the battle of the Stoke-on-Trent throwers, Lewis led for much of the contest, but at 9-6, he saw Taylor reel off three successive legs to take the match to a 19th and final leg.
However, Lewis was first to a double, and he will now play Gary Anderson in the last four after hitting double 20 at the third time of asking.
Anderson, the 2015 world champion, overturned an early deficit to register a 10-6 triumph against Jelle Klaasen, who had already claimed the scalps of Raymond van Barneveld and James Wade earlier this week.
Defending champion Michael van Gerwen averaged over 106 on his way to a comfortable 10-4 win against Dave Chisnall to set up a showdown with Peter Wright.
The world number four rarely had to produce his best form to see off John Henderson by a 10-4 scoreline.
