Jeff Smith has continued his run at the BDO World Championship with a 4-1 victory in the second round over Brian Dawson.
Smith, who reached the semi-finals last year, defeated three-time winner Martin Adams in the first round, and encountered little problem in seeing off Dawson on Wednesday night.
Fourth seed Jamie Hughes is also through to the last eight after coming from a set behind to beat Madars Razma by a 4-1 scoreline.
Another player to win 4-1 was Dennis Harbour, who comfortably saw off the challenge of Welshman Martin Phillips.
